Happy, healthy dogs are at the heart of who we are. We’ve created a loving environment, where your dog can relax, and exercise to its hearts content. Dog daycare should be more than just a place to leave your dog when you’re unable to be with them. At Happy Dogs we treat your dog to fun-filled days of socialising with other dogs, interacting with our caring team, exercising and burning off excess energy. You’ll no longer feel guilty about not having enough time or energy to play with your dog after a long day at work, because at the end of every day, you’ll pick up a perfectly happy pet. Wanting to be part of a pack is deeply instinctive for dogs; that’s why we integrate open play with others into their daily routine. Regular playtime with other dogs has a number of benefits, including:
With Happy Dogs Daycare, your furry family member will learn how to be a well-balanced, well behaved pet. We provide our regular customers with frequent updates on their dog’s temperament, as well as advice on how to complement our training at home. The carefully designed layout of our arena, allows us to separate our guests by size and temperaments.
Our dog daycare facilities include spacious areas that are 100% fully supervised. Before staying with us, our team first meets with your dog to ensure they will be a good fit for our open play environment. Be good to your dog; remove your anxieties, eliminate destructive behaviour, barking, and accidents in the house while you're gone.
Your dog will love you and you will love Happy Dog Daycare!

Daycare:
We provide full day or half day (4 hours) daycare for your dog, from 7.30am to 6pm Monday to Friday. Excluding bank holidays. Our days are structured for your dogs well-being and to keep your dogs mind active. We regularly change our regimes to include basic command training, sensory scavenger hunts, socialising as well as quiet time for those that need a little nap and plenty of cuddles.
Walkies:
If your dog needs to have one on one extra exercise we can arrange for your dog to be taken on a 1 hour walk or a shorter 30 minute walk. The walks are local from our facility and are on an out and back route which is known by all staff should any help be required. We always keep the dogs on lead while enabling them to enjoy the outside freedom and fresh air. We walk at the dogs pace; this is their time. When they return from the walk, we give the dog some time away from the main pack to allow them to catch their breath and relax before joining back in the fun and games. We highly recommend this extra service for large breeds and working or utility dogs.
What is dog daycare? Before we explain the benefits of using dog daycare, we thought it appropriate to explain a little as to what dog daycare actually is: Dog daycare can best be explained as a day time boarding service for dogs. Usually, dogs will stay for the duration of their owners’ working day, being dropped off in the morning and collected in the evening, although care of just a few hours at a time may also be offered. Dog daycare does not provide a kennelling or an overnight service. Added to this, it differs from kennels and boarding facilities in that the focus of the centre is on well mannered socialising, activity, exercise, and keeping the dogs entertained. Our dog daycare offers a range of different environments for dogs, including an outdoor area, and well thought out facilities to keep dogs of all sorts entertained! While steps will be taken by the staff to account for nervous dogs or dogs that do not get on well with others, generally, only sociable and fairly outgoing dogs will really thrive in the doggy daycare environment. Dogs that do not get on well with other dogs or that are particularly nervous will generally be rather unhappy. Dog daycare is essentially a pet sitting service, and just like at Happy Dogs, offering a facility that has specially equipped premises to provide it. Multiple dogs will be present on the premises at once; it is not a one-to-one service. However, the ratio of staff to dogs will be sufficient to ensure that all of the dogs are kept safely entertained and cared for.
What are the benefits? For friendly, sociable dogs, dog daycare can provide a great opportunity to meet new people, play, socialise with other dogs and burn off excess energy! It can prove cheaper than hiring a dog walker or pet sitter within the home, but ultimately, it offers a much greater range of mental and physical stimuli for your dog.
Mind + Muscle + Balance
Your dog's body is much like our own; they have specific needs that have to be catered for. The structured day we offer, combined with group activities throughout the day, will keep your dog’s mind (as well as its body) active. It's an enriching experience with long-term benefits.
Is it a good idea for my own dog? If your work, or other commitments mean that you need to leave your dog alone for more than a couple of hours a day, dog daycare is an excellent option to provide care for them in your absence. It is infinitely preferable to leaving your dog unsupervised for long periods of time and can work out cheaper and provide better value than arranging a once a day dog walker.
